Madlib's solo debut, this album is just the start of a rich music catalog that spans from hip - hop to jazz, featuring wild experimentation and collaborations with MF DOOM and J Dilla. The identity of Quasimoto was a mystery. Madlib created Quasimoto in the 1990s while living in Oxnard and Santa Barbara to rap on his beats for personal listening. Thanks to Peanut Butter Wolf, The Unseen was released for everyone to enjoy.
