The European sessions from 1969 include Nina's classic tracks and rare versions of songs written by Aretha Franklin, Barry Gibb, Randy Newman, and Pete Seeger. After 1979, this highly sought - after Nina Simone album is back as a deluxe limited vinyl edition. Produced by Gene Perla and officially licensed from PM Records, it showcases the original artwork by A.M. Schnider. Billboard says it's a welcome LP with an impressive backup band. Cash Box Magazine praises Simone's performance on various tracks, and The Jazz Times ranks this 1969 German concert above others.
