Description

In the mid - late 1960s, Cleveland's music scene was a hotbed of talent. Bands like the James Gang with Joe Walsh and Glenn Schwartz, The Choir, Eric Carmen (pre - Raspberries), Glass Harp with Phil Keaggy, the Damnation of Adam Blessing, and the Lost Souls graced the stage. Among them, the Lost Souls, high - school students dealing with dress codes and bullies, never released a record. Despite losing a band battle at Teen Fair 1968 to the James Gang, they hold the greatest mystique and created some of the most adventurous music, hardly heard by many. In 1984, main songwriter Denny Carleton released a cassette of the band's original recordings. It got airplay on hundreds of college and public radio stations in the USA and worldwide, and received great reviews. Now, our Lion Productions edition is a game - changer. It's the first time the Lost Souls' music is available since the cassette, and it includes many additional cuts. You'll find alternate versions of key tracks like 'Things That Are Important' and 'I'm Falling' (the band's closest to a hit), all mastered from original tapes. There are also seven bonus tracks spotlighting Denny Carleton's work. The eight - page booklet tells the full band story and recording info, and comes with unseen photos from his personal archive.

To enjoy the music of The Enigmatic Lost Souls, simply play the provided audio on your preferred music player. There are no special usage requirements. Just sit back and let the unique sounds of the 1960s wash over you. When it comes to storage, keep the audio files in a safe place on your device to prevent loss. If you have the physical copy like the cassette or booklet, store them in a dry and cool environment to avoid damage. There aren't any specific dos and don'ts during listening, so feel free to enjoy the music however you like, whether it's alone, with friends, or while working.
